Jennifer S. Grellman, MS, LMFT
Founder & Executive Director
Jennifer is the founder of Being Adept. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in adolescent and family psychotherapy with a practice in Marin County, California. She has provided therapeutic counseling to youth and families at many organizations, including The Youth Services Bureau of the San Rafael Police Department Dominican University Counseling Department and Terra Linda High School, all located in San Rafael California. Jennifer served for four years as an elected official and President of the Kentfield School Board for the Kentfield School District. She graduated from UC Berkeley and received her graduate degree in counseling psychology at Dominican University.

Allan P. Gold, Ph.D
District Psychologist, Reed Union School District
Allan is the District Psychologist for the Reed Union School District in Tiburon, California.  He has served as the psychologist there since 1976.  He earned his Ph.D. in Educational and School Psychology at U.C. Berkeley, where he taught in the School of Education from 1980-1988.  He is a California Outstanding School Psychologist, a District Phoebe Apperson Hearst Award Winner, and a nationally certified School Psychologist.

Donna Goldman
Real Estate Agent
Donna Goldman is an experienced real estate agent with deep historical market knowledge and a ‘sixth sense’ for matching people and homes. She is one of a handful of top agents in Marin County. Donna’s versatile skills were honed in the field of financial brokerage, as the Executive Producer of marketing communications for Charles Schwab & Co., and in advertising/branding for Fortune 100 companies as the founder and award-winning director of Buzz Pictures, a motion picture production company. Donna graduated from Emerson College in Boston, with a degree in Mass Communication. She currently resides in Ross, CA.

Alexandra (Lexa) Herron
Lexa is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. She began her career as a Consultant for Aon Consulting, working with the team that developed the first managed care networks prior to starting Aon’s Managed Care Consulting practice, then moved to New York to join Ernst & Young’s benefits consulting practice where she specialized in Time Loss management and consulting to employers regarding their health care plans. Lexa later worked for Medstat and Aetna developing and growing their benefit plans, especially within the managed care arena. In addition, Lexa has volunteered and supported the Kentfield School District.

Nicola Longmuir, MD
Chemical Dependency
Dr. Nicola Longmuir graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine at Chapel Hill in 1980. Dr. Longmuir is affiliated with Kaiser Permanente Oakland Medical Center and specializes in Psychiatry. She completed a fellowship in Addiction Medicine at the San Francisco Veterans Administration Medical Center. When Kaiser Permanente Oakland first opened its Chemical Dependency Recovery Program in 1995, she left the Department of Medicine to join their staff. She speaks Chinese, English and Spanish.
